First up is my first attempt at food photography. I've quickly realised just how much we take this particular faction of photography for granted. I personally thought it was an easy gig, but trust me it's a lot more challenging than you'd think to make a successful image.

Next up are two shots that make up part of a larger project. The format was simple; take one shot a day, for seven days, documenting what you were doing in your life at that specific time. It just so happened that I was trying (mostly in vain) to get a few decent landscapes from a reservoir down the road from me. So all shots are from the one location, at differing times of day. I think it's pretty cool to see the way the light varies from day to day at the one location. So with that in mind I have purposely left any colour casts uncorrected as that is the true tone of the natural light (all shot on daylight for greater accuracy of natural colours). These shots are deliberately composed so they're not 'true' landscapes, as i thought it would be somewhat cynical to hand in fully polished landscapes rather than quirky location records.
